Maria Elena LaMantia Pannozzi (1915-1993)

The picture is of my mother Maria Elena LaMantia Pannozzi (1915-1993) taken in Providence, around 1939. Like her sister Anna, my mother spoke some Sicilian which was taught to her by her grandmother Carmella Corso Russo(1857-1940) and grandfather Fillipo Russo (1857-1929). She told me many of the old stories of the Inn in Termini-Imerese where her great grand parents worked during the Napoleonic era. I am still searching for other Mantia, Russo, Mancuso, Corso and Catalano descendants who can tell me more about her ancestors. If anyone recognizes the facial characteristics as part of their family, please let me know.
